(1st ASSET) was founded in 2000, with the objective of imparting skills and training to those who were keen to acquire knowledge and become aware of the latest best practices and technological updates in the security industry. It is today an award winning ISO 9001:2015 certified organisation that is deeply committed to spreading education and imparting knowledge and training for the professional development of the private protection industry

Media

We publish two leading and award winning monthly magazines - SECURITY TODAY & SECURITY UPDATE

SECURITY TODAY was introduced into the Indian market in October 2004. It was formally launched with fanfare at a public gathering by India’s ‘Super Cop’ Mr. KPS Gill, renowned motivational speaker & author, Mr. Shiv Khera and Mr. RS Gupta (IPS) the former Commissioner of Police, Delhi. Since then, SECURITY TODAY has emerged to be India’s largest circulated and the best read professional monthly magazine dedicated to the safety and security sector. By playing the role of a catalyst that fuels the organized growth of India’s protection industry, SECURITY TODAY aims to bridge the gap between the end users and buyers of security equipment and services by sharing knowledge and information.

Our Editorial Advisory Board is headed by Mr. G.K. Pillai, IAS, the former Union Home Secretary, Government of India.

SECURITY UPDATE was launched in 2010. It is an award winning focused monthly tabloid on the protection technology and is targeted at the supply chain community comprising of manufacturers, distributors, dealers, system integrators and installers of security & fire protection equipment in the Indian subcontinent

Training

 Our Training Division imparts technical training on security automation systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Alarms and Fire Alarm Systems with practical training. We offer a wide range of technical courses and non technical security management courses within security related fields targeted at the training requirements of personnel at all levels, from foundation courses for those with little or no previous experience of the industry to highly advanced programs for Senior Managers, Career Security Professionals, Engineers and Technicians.

Consultancy
Our Consultancy Division offers an extensive range of security related consultancy services ranging from site surveys, risk analysis and system design to tender preparation and evaluation. We can provide expert unbiased advice including written reports with non-disclosure agreements. We have the capability, contacts and resources to gather the required information and also the analytic skills to assess such information and suggest mitigation measures to our clients.

Events
Our Events Division organizes educational conferences for the Private Security Industry. The SECURITY TODAY Knowledge Summit (STKS) for the CSO community and the SECURITY UPDATE BUSINESS SUMMIT for the Manufacturers & Systems Integrators ever year, for the past many years. STKS is our flagship conference that is attended by the top security professionals and dignitaries. We also lend our its expertise in organizing and managing events such as road shows, buyer - seller meets for security and fire companies seeking new markets, better branding and visibility. The 1st ASSET team comprises of qualified and experienced professionals that guides its clients about the best way to grow their business.

Management
The management team of 1st ASSET is led by its CEO Mr. GB Singh. He has over three decades of professional experience in the Protection Industry. Widely travelled, he has presented papers at major security conferences. He sits on the board of the Private Security Industry Committee of FICCI and is a Member of the Bureau of Indian Standards Committee for Electronic Security Systems & the Private Security Industry Committees of FICCI. He is a member of ASIS International (USA) and a former Chair its Indian Chapter #207. He is currently the Vice Chairman and Foundation Board Member of the International Institute of Safety & Security Management (IISSM). He is a Fellow and Global Advisory Council Member of the Institute of Strategic Risk Management (ISRM), UK.
